Default Does anyone have, MMW coilovers?

On there site they sell the set for 250.00 That seems cheap. ground control is the next cheapest at 400.00. I was just wondering if anyone has any info on these coilovers.

These are only coil over sleeves. They are not a complete CO with springs and struts. I sell the Weapon-R version and they are good for the money, but if you can afford to go to the Tein Basics you wil lbe much happier.

Sleeve and spring, yes. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.

well that is probably all you would need. the stock strut should be good for awhile.

The problem with using the stock struts is the handling will not be good and the struts will blow out quite rapidly. The stock dampers are not valved to handle the higher spring rates or the reduced travel associated with the coil over sleeves (or any spring that is stiffer and shorter then stock). You will end up with a bouncy and harsh ride. You'll have to replace them with upgraded struts relatively soon (a stab in the dark at price is $350 for something good). So your final cost will be $600 for coil overs that are mediocre at best. If you are only after an inexpensive way to get the slammed look then this migh be a good option. If you want to get better handling, then save some more cash and get the Tein Basics.

Your car, back, and GF will thank you.

Get coilovers. I ran sleeves on my Accord for all of 6 months. Thet blew out my stock struts in a matter of days, and blew out my Tokico Illumina 5-way's in about 4-5 months. Not worth it!!!
