I was wondering TRD spring drop looks noticeable since its only like1 inch. Like does it look nicer than stock tC or does it pretty much look the same, just better handling.

 

Yes, and yes... It is noticeable, and the car handles better. Although I must point out that I also changed the shocks as well. PM me with an email addy and I will send you some pics.

 

ya on both. Here'a a pic from right after the install. They've settled down a little more since then.

 

The drop is most noticeable when I park right next to an unmodified tC-- they sit like RAV4s.

Looks nice, I'm hoping to get the TRD springs/struts as my first mod soon. Did the problem of the car sitting lower on the driver side after the new springs installation ever get figured out? I haven't found that thread again and was curious.

 

That would probly have nothing to do with the springs. It was most likely a bad install.

 

TRD is a nice drop which isnt to low. I have had my drop for 6 months and have only scraped once. Also the ride is still very nice after being lowered.

 

Yeah it's noticable. There's a kid that comes up to our dealership all the time who has them and they're fully settled. They took almost all the wheel gap out on the 17's then he put some 18x8.5's on with 235/40's and WOW!! He's almost tuckin' in the rear.

no, but an alignment won't hurt.

If you buy springs it is highly recomended that you changes the shocks as well, but some people don't.

 

if you drop your car 1.5" and lower you will need new shocks. anything less and you will not need new ones.

 

I just got TRD springs in the mail... so the front springs and rear springs are different diameter... right?
