I just went away on vacation and I jumped back in my car and it doesn't seem to roll as easily as it did before. It seems almost like the parking brake is sticking a little bit(parking brake is off, i didn't drive with it up). I just went out for a drive and found that the drum brake was a little hot, the caliper on the disk was cold, to the touch after driving for about 15 min, I'm not sure if its normal or not. I'm leaving for FL tm so I would like to make sure that my brake isn't sticking before I go out for an 18 hour drive. Any ideas? What should I look for if I check?

 

Have you checked for wheel drag with the wheels off the ground? If it drags, try backing off the star adjuster.

 

My front driver brake was cookin after my drive just now. Took it apart, pistons seized. Fml. Anyone know if this would be covered under 5 year?

 

call up and ask it wont hurt

 

i think the normal warranty is 5 years or 60K miles
