Eibach vs TRD??
I thought I had this figured out, but I guess I don't! OK here's my dilemma. I just ordered Eibach Prokit for the tC yesterday because It sounds like it woud fit the picture I'm looking for my everyday driver. Not to low but enough to look sexy, especially if I go with 18's" Al ot of sources said that I would have nothing to worry about if I stay on stock struts, now after doing some searches on here, I'm thinking it's not such a good idea! Secondly I though Eibach Prokit was 1.4" drop all around, now I found places on the web that say 1.2" all around! What the hell! If it's only 1.2" then I would have went with TRD and saved $50 or so plus .5" lower than Eibach! Can somebody please help clear this up for me, cause I thought It was a done deal, and now I'm second guessing it!
Thanx!

I run full TRD setup. To the best of my knowledge the Eibachs Pros ARE the TRD springs.
Your stock struts will last for awhile. Some longer than others.

^ Ya, that's my understanding too, the Eiback Pro Kit should be the same as the TRD springs, except they're different colors. And as already mentioned, the stock struts will function ok for some time.
I have the TRD springs with stock struts, but don't feel the struts are valved optimally to damp the higher spring rates, the ride is too "bouncy". I'm sure that the TRD struts would resolve the issue, and that they'd work fine with the Eiback Pro Kit too.

x2. i'm on eibach pro kits with TRD struts/shocks (see my pic for reference). as far as i know, the TRD springs are the same as eibach pro kits. the eibach drop is more than 1.2" (once they fully settle)
the drop is just about perfect and i get compliments all the time. in addition, ride quality is not overly compromised.
it is quite a bit stiffer with the TRD shocks.

Thanks everybody for the input, I really appreciate it! I've been driving myself crazy all day at work, trying to figure out if I should keep the ProKit and install them on stock struts or send them back and get TRD springs and struts! I really can't afford nor was I planning on buying struts, So I guess I'll just install the Eibachs when they get here, and call it good for now!Thanx again!

Well i've lowered many vehicles with different springs and honestly i would stick with the TRD springs because if you ask for 1 inch or two inch drop that is exactly what they give you.who knows toyota better than toyota.
