front strut bar
hi all, i have an NST front strut bar on my 05 tc. basically, my question is, would i need high-temp spray paint to paint it? im kinda doing a blue and silver theme on my car and im wondering if the paint i used on my emblems would suffice for my strut bar too. i know you need high-temp paint for wheels and brake calipers etc but i dunno if it's required for a strut bar that only heats up to engine temperature, not brake temperature.
thanks guys.
thanks guys.
It wouldn't hurt....I would if I were you.
At least use a high temp clear coat. A buddy of mine used regular color-matched paint on his calipers, then covered them in High Temp Clear...looks awesome, works fine.
