Default Going from stechs to something else.....worth it?

Sorry if this is on here already, but I'm at work and only ran a quick search/browse.

I’ve been dropped on stechs for about probably 18-20 months and for some reason I’m getting the urge to get rid of them, but I don’t want to go back to stock. I don’t scrape just because I know how to handle a low car since I’ve owned a few, but there’s just some places where it’s unavoidable. I was considering going to htechs, but how much of a difference can half an inch make? I think I'd like 1.5" total drop all the way around most. Has anyone else gone from stechs to something else?? If you have, what do you think about it? I’m assuming I’d only get $50-75 out of my stechs in PPC. I guess my main question would be how much of a difference could only half of an inch make and is it worth the work/pricing to do it??

if you were going to swap springs, i would go coilovers if that is an option with the money situation so you can control your drop. From the looks of it your looking to stay in a low price range talking about switching to htechs...... It would suck if you switched up and then wanted to go lower again.....

I've looked at coilovers as an option as well, but I'm actually liking the Hotchkis the most right now. I'd get the package set with the sway bars as well. TRDSparks has them for a good price right now. Money isn't too much of a concern with income taxes coming up, so I've got time to decide.

Does the tc come with the front lower than the back already? What's the specs on the stock height? I want to try to keep the front lower than the back, and with the Hotchkis the back drops more than the front.

Yeah, I've read that and that it doesn't do really anything for the car.....SO, now I'm looking at Hotchkis springs and Progress rear sway OR Progress springs and Progress rear sway. I like the aggressive look you get with the front lower than the back, that's why I'm asking about the stock height.

FYI......I'm going to be selling my stechs and going to be asking $100 shipped OBO.
