Default Got a question about stoptech brakes , if anyone can help

I'm lookinbg into buying the stoptech stage 2 kit , just whanted to know if anybody here has it , and would they recomend it. Or thoes anyone have any better suggestions.

how about a good set of brake pads , for the track .
i'm probably gona take my car to summit point this year and my friends tell me the first thing i need is a good set of brake pads

they work great
good choice in brakes

wilwood only has front, so its not worth the money

most ppl I kno usually go with just performance pad and rotors. Thats prolly wat I'll turn out doin when it comes time for me to change my brakes.

how much will they run you if you get them? last time I checked it was an arm and a leg.

gonna need alot more than that bro

for pads, go with hawk carbon pads

the kit gise u das, rotors, steel brake lines fro front and rear and high perfomance fluid , you keep the stock calipers, and it cost about $560

Thats true I spent a butt load on my turbo setup.I find thats its money well spent and worth it.

do u plan on racing the car much, or no??
if u do, should go with coilovers not springs
and those bars are only the beginning

the whole coilover or springs decision is all over SL if want to do a search. I think of it like this. Show purposes go with springs. performance purposes go with coilovers.IMO

ZPI, greddy, turbonetics, and dezod (as well as custom) are the current turbo kit makers for the tC.

i dont plan to race it much, my friend suggested going to summit point , so i can have an instructor give me a few pointers , i'm not exactly the best driver

you mean ZPI. I was gonna do them originally but lots of thing been said about them both positive and bad(lots of bad). So I decided to go with T-netics cause they are a reputable company. And greddy Just didnt catch my attention enough although the price is good.
