P.S. i ask some people in the service department about TRD springs, if i need to have a CAMBER KIT cuz of tire wear which i dont want to have a problem to my tC and they said that it dont need to but if i lowered my tC, i need an alignment ASAP to have no problem.....for now i'll get more information before i installed my TRD springs

hey guys if i installed my TRD springs, is it going to have an effect on the "TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR"??? your answer will be help thanxz!

I have had the TRD's installed since like march, no alignment problems or a need for the camber kit cause it's not a low drop. I did have to adjust my tire pressures back when it went from cold to hot, but that is just seasonal stuff. Oh and the stranger wear on the passenger front tire (the one that spins when you burn out). Other than the fact I did them myself, and I couldn't drink my beer while compressing the springs love them.

 

after my trd springs were installed, my tire pressure light always keeps going off

 

get your tires balanced, then reset your tire pressure indicator

 

Ive had mine for about 6 months now and yes i need a camber kit for the back and yes i need an alignment and not once has my tire pressure gonw off once even when i swaped them out for 19's. good luck and enjoy

 

what "tire pressure indicator" the one inside of that compartment??

 

well.. i have the TRD springs.. and all i needed was an alighment.. not camber kit and no tire pressure light...

im suprised anyone would need a camber kit.. especially with TRD springs... the tc has camber adjustment already... unless something is seriously off , what the camber adjustments provide should be enough..

 

the tC was designed with an adjustable rear camber to adjust for the TRD springs, not a drop like tien stech's. so you should be fine with just the trd springs.

and the reset button i am talking about is in your glove compartment

 

Is it necessary to get the replace the struts/shocks when you install the TRD springs??

 

it is not necessary, but is recommended. your stock struts will wear out alot faster, and you will have a more bouncy ride without the trd struts

rear adjustable camber??? I didn't know we had that.. how do we adjust them and is it ness. if you installed the trd springs...

 

I plan on doing TRD spring, stock Scion Shocks, and my own 18 inch rims. I hope I will be Ok for a while :D

 

I have the trd shocks, sprincs and hotchkis sway bars. No camber, no alignment and no tire pressure light. Its a very nice drop. Low enough to look aggressive. Not so low you sacrafice ride comfort, or resulting in scraping on everything.
