Default Greddy Front/Rear Strut Tower vs DC Sports vs TRD

I'm currently price checking on different sites between these three for my tC. What is the difference between the 3 and why does Greddy have rear strut tower as well? Does it also go under the hood? I'm new so any help would be appreciated. thanks!

The Difference?..... ....The Brands... They do the same thing...

And yes, the Front strut bar goes under the hood.

And check with Greddy about the rear strut bar.. I couldn't tell ya! :D

You dont' need both greddy bars. I thin they rear actually mounts behind the rear head rest, so some cutting is involved, or I may be thinking abou tsomethng else.
Ingalls make a rear brace taht goes under the foam, kinda around the spare tire area which is supposed to be really good.

Honestly, you will get more performance from a rear sway bar then a front strut tower brace.

foudn a pic of the greddy rear. Wasn't what I was thinking of:

I was thinking of the Megan C-Pillar bar.
But doesn't look like it would do as much as the Ingalls:

I thought the front strut brace did improve the handling, and not the rear?

I am looking into getting a DC strut brace but now that I read it's useless i'm not so sure. Maybe somebody with experience can chime in and say if it makes a $150 worthwhile difference.

If not i'll just get the hotchkis swaybar set F/R

Totally disagree w/ You!...lol

I have the Prgress Rear Sway Bar and Just added the Ingalls 4-point Rear Strut Bar..There is a HUGE differeance while taking corners and switching lanes!!!

The Front Strut Bar does Nothing for performance..its Mostly "cosmetic" it it looks Bad-A$$!!..I have the DC Sport Front Strut Bar....

So should I bother going with both DC front or just wait and get the sways and Ingalls?

Also, does the front sway make a difference or just the rear?

Lastly, teecizzle where did you get parts from, as in what website?

Thanks and sorry for the questions. Figure if I need to wait for boost i'll get the handling down. BBK & suspension.

Dont know if this helps any but i read up n car and driver, that the reason most people dont feel the difference in adding the front strut bar is because 80% of the people do the installation improperly. Its a 2 to 3 person job... u cant just roll ur car in ur driveway, take off the top bolts for the strut and install the strut bar. The car needs to be lifted, ur springs n shocks need to be fully extended then you gotta have a buddy pushing the strut up while you bolt it on from above. Makes no sense to me but just givin ya a heads up probably why many people think the front strut bar doesnt do anything.

I've never heard that before. I have heard something about putting them on with the car raised and then tightening them when it's back on the ground.

All I can attest for is that the Hotchkis front and rear sways made a TREMENDOUSLY noticeable difference and I love them. The front was also a PITA to install.
And my friend says the Ingalls rear brace works great.
