I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with Konis for my dampers, and I was wondering if anyone has been able to fit Ground Controls to them.

As of right now, GC only makes and sells a kit that they know will work with stock shocks/struts, according to what they told me today over the phone. They said it is possible for them to work with the Konis, but they haven't had a tc in their shop that already had Konis on it, and they don't know if the diameter of the shock/strut bodies is the same as stock. I'd assume it would be close with the front at least, since they are inserts, but who knows if Koni made their rear shocks a different diameter from the stock rears, causing a conflict with the size of the sleeve.

So, in short, has anyone here ran the Ground Control #8081.01 coil sleeve kit with Konis? Thanks in advance for your help.

hmm, so from that thread I gather that the only problems with the konis lied within the rear springs...maybe they were too short or something?

he didn't mention anything about the sleeves not fitting over the strut/shock body, so that's a good sign. once I get my konis, I'll measure the diameter of the shock bodies (koni vs. stock) to see if they are the same. this will at least confirm the sleeves being able to fit.
