I do know that Axxis Ultimates are not recommended for the track, but I used them the first time I ever went to the track and they performed great, I ran on them 5 times 20 min sessions! Also, I go to the canyons quite frequently and I only see very little wear .. my wheels do get a lot of brake dust on them though.

Awesome. I don't really care about dust, I can just use the wheel cleaner whenever they get dirty. It's a spray on and hose off deal, so no biggie there.

I am glad to hear that they won't kill the my rotors, thats my biggest concern. If they don't wear out the stock rotors, i am sure they won't wear my rotorpro slotted rotors. Especially since I don't track the car.

Also good to hear that they don't wear as badly as I have been thinking.

hey Spect2K3-
I know I've helped ya before with tires, like the proxes4 let me help give my advice on this too.. There is a company I've mentioned before around here.. Porterfield. They make a carbon-kevlar pad. I had it on my old car. EXCELLENT PAD! Low dust, high braking friction, very low wear on the rotor. The person who has my old car, still has them, and i'd say since i put them on the car has gotten about 40k-45k and there is still a lot of pad left! Does not squeak or make noise. No problem in cold weather, no warm up, instant bite. The one I had was the R4-S, s for Street compound. I don't know if they have the scion tC's but they do have the celica gts, you could always give them a call to see what fits the tC.

http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/pads.html is their website.. hope that helps.

When dealing with ABS and brake set-up, you'll get better results if you don't worry about stopping distance and just worry about cooling.
Stopping distance is better fixed by using good tires and proper suspension tuning.
