Help me decide... (suspension)
Right now I have Tein H Techs on stock strut/shocks and a TRD rear sway bar but I have some money to burn and an oppertunity to get Tein SSP at a good price. So my delema is do I keep the H Techs and get new strut/shocks then upgrade to the Hotchkiss sways -or- do I get the SSP, keep the TRD sway bar and add the EDFC later on???
A) Tein SSP w/EDFC and TRD rear sway bar
B) Tein H Tech, Hotchkis F&R sway bars and TRD or Koni strut/shock
tia

The change from TRD to Hotchkis rear sway won't do too much for you. And adding the front Hotchkis sway may hurt your cause and create more understeer (I still have a front sway in storage).
So really I think the question would be between shocks/struts or coilovers. If you really have nothing else to spend the money on, coilovers would be nice... but would you really need the EDFC other than as a neat toy? Or do you autocross or anything that might make it useful?
I'm just playing devil's advocate here... these are things I'd think about before a purchase like that.

I really want the SSP but I started thinking that all of this is in an effort to get new struts/shocks so at about the same price I'd get either the SSP coilovers or strut/shocks and have enough left over to get the Hotchkis bars.
The EDFC would be for the benefit of my passengers (aka wife). I'd like to be able to soften up the ride for long distances without having to plan ahead.
...it'd also be a neat toy. lol.
i would go SS-P with EDFC for the main reason of the adjustability of the dampering...stiff for racing and other fun driving situations...and a little looser for daily driving
I would choose the second option bascially it looks like this is your DD car. Do you auto x your car alot to the point where you need the adjustability of coilovers?
If you spend an extra $400 bucks for the EDFC I would just go get some JIC coilovers instead or HKS. Think about how many times you would actually use the EDFC? I mean it's a great thing to have but are you going to be adjusting your suspension everyday to make it worth the money?
Tein to me has too high of a spring rate. Even the the adjustable dampener, it will still be a little bit more uncomfortable than say H&R or Progress. I have the Basics and I love how it handles but just hate how the comfort level is. I am a more of a comfort guy then a performance guy. I bought them because I got a good deal on them.

I bought the SSP last night for a few bucks more than the Basics.
I would use the EDFC on a daily basis. One setting for me, one setting for the aggressive me and one setting for the wife and co-workers.
Comfort is relative. I drove my Monte Carlo almost daily until it wasn't street legal. In the end it was Pro Street class at 10.28 in the 1/4 on 1/8th mile gears and I still drove it to work from time to time.
