help with suspension on my tc
Dude you are ridiculous, GTFO off this forum you are talking about peoples car being stock look at your tc! You have nothing but some seat covers. Your are a dude it said it when you first posted then you thought it would be cute to change it to female and say you were getting picked on.
You really have ZERO knowledge of handling at ALL. Nothing you say has a shred of knowledge behind it.
I honestly think this has to be a joke.. or we have added another name to the dumbest people ever on this site.. and we all know that says a LOT

Yeah.. I guess having suspension and alignment mods that are actually good for handling (and 2 years autoxing this car) doesnt compare to the VIP LOOK YO!!!!!! Cause we all know that looking all riced out and VIP makes the car faster!
The guy/girl/tranny.. whatever they are is a joke. Wouldnt know how to handle a car around a course or track if their life depended on it

wow, simple search woulda edumacated you....engifineer is one of the top suspension gurus here....like he said...1.4 for THE TC is the optimal handling height. if you want to slam it but not want bouncy...good luck...I would recommend is either B+G coilovers or custom springs rates for Form&Function II coilovers.... those go the lowest from searches ive gone through....bottom line is......you cant have the best of both worlds....AND you can't listen to tuner magazine reading wannabe boy racers that tell you the lower you go..the better the handling...

Your struts blew because you were running too low on stock struts most likely. Cutting the bump stops was just a side effect of being that low. Sounds like you are WAY too low.
If you are wanting the car to handle well and will be tuning and corner balancing the car, then coilovers may be for you. In that case Tein SS-ps area good choice. JIC is really good, but will run a lot more most likely.
I am also a bit confused. You are brand new and yet you say you are a site admin??? Also what does "I know this is wired on honda" mean?
Here are a couple of threads from another tC forum that will help you with some decisions. Of course, if you are just wanting a slammed (Aka, dont care about handling) setup, then a lot of it wont interest you.

If someone gave me a dollar for everytime I read engifineer say that Id be rich. I swear every thread having to do with someone wanting a suspension set up he chimes in. Im sure if you searched you would find the same advice in about 100 diff threads.
Engifineer is one of the more knowledgeable members on sl when it comes to the suspension set up. Id listen to him. He knows what hes talkin bout.
