Hotchkis camber links Install??
Anyone ever do this on their own. It doesnt look too hard from the pics but then again, i might find a way to screw it up. Ive gotten my springs & shocks installed at a local shop. I have a lifetime allignment from another shop and they say $80 for the install. I would like to save some money and try it myself with the help of Pops but just wondering if anyone did it themselves? Ill be getting them from TRDSparks unless someone has a used set they want to sell me, let me know, thanks!!!

hey yanki, i been trying to get the 17mm nut off for the longest. I think when i last had an alignment, it was way over torqued by the shop, so that might just be mine. Mine are still sealed waitiing to be put on, maybe i'll give it another shot tonight.
i installed them myself with the help of my dad. i remember that the camber bolt was a pain to take out and replace since u have like 1 mm of clearance. one of the camber links had the bushing not pressed all the way down so getting its seated was tricky. after all that, getting the front bolt in was tough cuz the hub and link didnt line up. and torquing the camber bolt isnt easy, i had to drop the muffler down and use i think a 10" extension on the socket.
i wouldnt attempt this alone. it might have just been my set tho.

honestly id do it myself even knowing it was gonna be a pain. its not hard to do just tedious. if both you and ur dad are mechanically inclined u should have no problem, also having a decent array of tools is a plus. i forgot to mention having a large adjustable wrench is good for the big nut on the link itself, make that 2 large wrenches.
