hotchkis front sways

Default hotchkis front sways

ok people. who here has installed their front sway bars themselves? how in the world do you wiggle it into place after removing the stock one?!?! i am doing it on a drive on lift and have the subframe lowered and all, i just cant seem to get it into place! so currently i am forced to only use the rear and stock front. please i need this advice. thanks

I did not put mine on a drive up lift. I used jack stands. Didn't give me much room to work under there, but maybe having the wheels hang lower helped?
Did you make sure to take all those nuts off the stering assembly and drop that down?
I think I actually angled the passenger side in first, then twisted to get the driver side in. Basically, if you can get the old one out, you should be able to get the new one in the same way. You just need to get that steering cradle down a little more.
