Default hotchkis springs users, help!

i've done a good amount of research, and i've finally decided on getting the hotchkis springs!

i was wondering, is it neccessary to get the camber kits using these springs? or would i just need to get a realignment?

another question, did you guys DIY installation, or had a mechanic install it, and for how much? im lookin for price ranges, so i know what to look for n not get ripped off!

and whats a good struts/sway bars to go with this setup.

and has there been any ride issues ever since u had ur hotchkis springs?

post ur pics! much thanks.

1. Just alignment will be fine.
2. Best bet would be a combination. If you have the tools/ability - take off all 4 struts and take them to a Monroe or something and have them swap the springs. That should be pretty cheap ($30-$40 for all 4 maybe). Then put them back in yourself.
3. If you got Hotchkis springs, might as well get the matching sway bars (they call that setup the TVS Stage 1). Strut bars are probably more cosmetic than functional, but the Hotchkis one looks nice.
4. No issues here. Still love them.
5. There are pics in my profile and a bunch in the "post pics of your lowered tc" thread.

i love mine, the drop is perfect, i dont think i really need an alignment,

oh yea the installs not bad.... for the front, the rears are a pain in the ___! id say do the fronts yourself if yuou have the tools and bring the rears to a professional shoud cost under $40 but those damn coils are so tightly packed (on the bottom of the rears) that i didnt have room to fit the spring compressor that i rented, took me a while to find someone to do it for me (correctly) for a reasonable price, infact minekee did one of my rears (cuz i later found out that the other place did one rear correct and messed the other one up pretty bad) free of charge so i lucked out there. but i love the ride, just make sure everything is put back nice and tight, and the bolts with the sway bars u may need to use a 17mm in the front and 14mm open ended wrench and a 6mm allen to get them nice and tight.

you'll love the springs tho, great quality. im happy

Personally the drop is perfect, handling wise..it's a little weird..the steering wheel is softer now, dont know why, and the steering is not as responsive after the spring install. Must be something with it being lower to the ground, but other wise, i'm ordering the sway bars as soon as i get my tax refund...

more importantly, has anyone had any success stories on the Hotchkis TVS Stage 1 setup? i've done enough research to hear all those who had problems with the Tein c/o and so on.

im planning to do this on stock shocks..with hotchkis springs, front/back sway bars installed. just hopin those who had it workin the first time can give me some pointers or things to look out for before the install.

im riding the Hotchkis' on stock shocks. rides fine for my purposes. sits pretty and aggressive as hell. pics.... imma try to post them. i have bottomed out a few times but thats cuz the way i go home the street is absolutely atrocious and its a REALLY steep hill so u go real fast then it dips and comes back up really abruptly to boot there was road work done on the bottom of that dip and so its even MORE irregular. other than that the car doesn bottom out and i would say it handles alot better. the car is more surefooted and body roll is very slight. ride comfort is just about as good as stock. i think they are great springs the best for the money/look. they sit just above the tire with no wheel gap and no tucking. perfect drop.
