yo, im planning on installing the hotchkis sway bar set for my car within the next week, so if anyone has any questions regarding the front sway installation let me know

it was hard to find any help in the forums so yeah, thought someone should at least attempt to for future installs

probably won't be able to make a diy but if anything i can provide some hints/tips/advice
basically at least a little bit of useful info

 

when you are doing the rear or the front sways make sure you jack up both sides of the car before you start working on it or else its going to be a bit difficult, both side meaning the left and right side of the car up. leaving one down and other up places tension on the bolts for the sway bar making it tough to remove.

 

well i finished, did the rear in my garage, set it on the stiffest setting had fun with that for a few days just installed the front in today, took about 2 1/2 hours but it was all good, this time i used a lift and had power tools so it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be

drove around a couple of cities, and i am amazed

good stuff, good stuff

wiggling it in wasn't too bad, decided to take an easier but messier route, disconnected the power steering line, wiggled it in and yeah. i did have a little trouble clamping /plugging the lines, spilled some but it was ok, borrowed a friend's car and just grabbed a pint

now after doing it, i can't imagine using stands and floor jacks

oh yeah, i didn't bother removing the splash guards or the cradle bridge bracket

if you have 3 bills to spare, you should really get the hotchkis sways i love them sooo much

 

as you drive over the bumps or little dips in the road do u hear clunking sound or a sound that sounds like a clunking?

wen i had mine it was making some noise maybe i installed it wrong or something or not enough of that oil that they give us

 

hmmm, it's probably something else, i doubt a dry bushing would make a "clunk" sound. if anything something(s) were not tightened correctly

 

hmmm may be
