Default Hotchkis Sway bar question...

I know its been discussed and i searched and looked through alot of posts. I have a question about the settings. For the most part i see i want the front on the lowest setting but for the rear ive seen people say medium and some say the hardest. I am dropped on hotchkis springs already. Im looking to go to a few auto x events this year but i also want it to be streetable what do you guys recommend for settings? Thanks.

I run my front on the soft setting... and the rear is always on the stiff setting. I also autox regularly and don't really have any issues. I don't see much point in changing it too often...

Yeah thats the main thing i dont want to have to get back up under there and change the setting. I should be good with soft up front and stiff rear. How does it drive on the street? Neutral or does it have under/oversteer?

You want the front softer so you reduce understeer, but not so much softer that it is snapping around into oversteer to easilly. Since you are autoxing it, play around with the settings. If your local club has a test n tune day, that is a perfect time!

I understand about the front being on the softest setting since ive seen pretty much everyone put it on that. The rear bar is where im not sure i dont want it kicking out around on me unexpectedly but would the medium be to soft compared to the front. Sorry for all the questions im kinda new to the whole suspension settings other than lowerings springs. Sorry if im not making sense. I guess the best way if for me to play around with the different settings and see what works for me?

I would start with the rear on a medium setting and the front on the softest and go from there.

Yep! I have had em lined up since before christmas, so it has been keeping me busy :D Shoot me an email at engifineer@gmail.com. I tend to have better luck keeping up with all the messages doing it all through email.
