Default hotchkis sway bars set up

i have front and rear sway bars on my car now and when i installed them i saw that there is 3 different holes you can put the linkage into, i just put the same hole as the stock sway bars. what would the car do it i used the front hole or the rear hole, does that change the stability of the car?

They change the stiffness of the bar, which drastically changes the way it handles. Stiffer in the rear (in relation to the front) means more oversteer. The other way around means more understeer.

Based upon autoxing the tC a decent amount, I would say for something driven on the street a lot, you will want to start with the rear bar on the middle setting and the front bar on the softest setting. If you were autoxing, I would try to leave the front on the softer setting and the rear on the stiffest setting for events to get it to rotate more, but it may be a bit oversteery (my new word of the day) that way on longer sweeping corners or on the street.

thanks man yeah i want a nice stiff ride that handles good even though it would mainly be for just regular street driving, so ur saying rear bar in the middle and front bar soft? what hole would that be for the front then?
