Default hotchkis sways question

aside from getting rid of body roll... do these affect the roughness of the ride very much? or just make your car stay flatter on the road in the corners?

i know it will ride a bit rougher but i wanted to know if it was a big difference or just a tad bit... i don't think they would make it as bad as drop springs

can't drop my car but alteast i could stiffin it up a bit

you mean your keeping stock suspensions except you want to add a sway bar set?

oh. I had the TRD swaybar with stock struts/springs

i actually didnt feel a difference and mine was set on race (stiffer setting).

Hotchkis are a bit thicker but Im sure you wont feel it too much, if anything

EDIT: it also depends on your tolerance.

you will notice it big time, i have H&R coilovers, and i installed the H&R sway afterwards and it made it a little more stiff, but when you upgrade the front and the rear it will be a lot stiffer and you will notice a big improvement in handling, and if you think you cant drop your car, maybe you should look into the TRD spring/shock combo, a mild drop but increase in handling (big time), suspension upgrades are one of the most enjoyable upgrades i think makes driving the car a lot more fun. and theres nothing like taking an off ramp faster and smoother then you could stock :D

I'm looking forward to get TRD coil overs later this year. As for strut and sway bars, I don't own them but I believe that you would feel a difference at high speeds. That's just a guess.

BIG difference. My friend's car on Hotchki's sways only handle better than mine on TRD springs only.
