Default how good is the TRD suspension

I have TRD springs, rear sways and front tie bar on my TC. What are the chances of me keeping up with a 2008 BMW 335xi on a road with crazy ___ turns? when i say crazy I mean sharp, narrow road with barely any strait aways. I do go there almost every weekend and practice and my friend that has the beemer hasnt been there. We're not racing, I just want to know if i can keep up with him.

if you aren't racing, then yeah, you'll keep up with him.

just like the daihatsu materia, when going 85 mph, will easily sale past the ascari a10 when it is going 70 mph.

Accelerating - You don't have a shot in hell.

Cornering - You can probably gain a little ground here, but not much.

It just depends on so many factors. The 335 is an F-stock car, which is reserved for heavier "muscle-type" cars... and it certainly is a little heavy... but at the same time, it will completely blow you out of the water acceleration-wise... and it's got a decent suspension right out of the box.

Just putzing around, you'll be fine. Time trial, my money goes to the BMW.

well, the tc is still front wheel drive, nose heavy, and understeers, and if your on the oem tires, your even worse off.

the bmw is just much better in terms of handling and power. it is a whole different class of car.

don't focus on keeping up, just dont crash. just do that for me.

thanks guys. again, we're not racing becaues i know for sure i'll get destroyed in the straits, we're just going to have some fun. The road I would say, is about 75-80% turns, so for those who say that i have a chance on corners I hope you're right lol. Soon I'll either get 18" wheel/tires or just keep the stockies and get new tires, IDK yet. any suggestions?

If you want performance, spend the money on tires.

18's can be light if you buy the right wheels, but the same tires will be more expensive.

RT-615's are the best bang-for-buck among the autocross crowd. It was THE tire to have last season.

This season, it's the Bridgestone RE-01-R.

Up and coming which may be equivalent to the RT-615 is the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Starspec.
