Default I can't match brake pads - need recommendation

I just threw some new Axxis XBG semi-metallic pads on my front b/c I needed brakes. I choose the XBG from stoptech because they are less abrasive than the ceramic ultimates (which I was advised not to throw on stock rotors), and slightly more powerful than the axxis deluxe pads. Unforunately, I now see that they don't make axxis XBG for the rear on a tC.

I was informed to always match brake pads (front and rear) for safety purposes. I was going to either get some axxis deluxe pads or the dezod x-rated pads for the rear, but is that a safe thing to do? If not, what can I do???

The deluxe plus out back will be fine. The tC can actually handle a lot of rear brake with its EBD system so you should be fine with just about any street pad out back.

Ah, I forgot about the EBD system. I'm relieved. Thanks.
