Default I need some opinion on a TC 18s or 19s?

Sup everyone! I'm planning to get a 5sp Black Sand Pearl TC with TRD springs and shocks on them this summer and I need some opinion on whether I should get 18 inch or 19 inch rims on them. Which one do you guys think look better? Also the pros and cons on each?

19 looks HELLA GOOD/CLEAN

but ull notcied the difference in performance... from wat i hear.

18's will look good too.

go with 18's save u some $$ on tires and rims and gives you a lil more performance than the 19's!!!

if I had to get different rims, especially if I was going to keep my stock rims and put snow tires on them for the winter I would look for the lighest rims I could find, like magnesium alloy if I could avoid the bad roads around here, and if not just a light set, and I would get 18's since 19's would just add more weight. I'd also shave off as much weight from the corners as I could like short lightweight lugs etc etc - 19's would also give a harsher ride and lessen the choices of tires available. 19's would also be more prone to damage.

for LOOKS only, 19's would look better with the TRD drop.

but personally, the stock alloy 17 inch rims are really nice - just look around, all the other cars under $20,000 on stock rims are steelies. Be happy we got nicer rims than most stockers. Then you could spend the close to $2000 on more important things like bolt on engine parts like intake, header, custom S-pipe, exhaust or even get your entire sound system redone with higher end speakers and a sub with box in the back.... or a DVD navigational system...

two grand is a big hole in the pocket for a quality set of 19's and high end tires..... you could do a whole lot more that would actually be beneficial aside of looks and a harsher ride, not to mention out of this world repair or replacement price

Don't forgot that's just one persons opinion. Not everyone buys a car to make it the fastest car they can afford to make it. For example myself, I came from a faster car with lots of go-fast mods. It was great, I loved it, raced it, etc. But this time I'[quote=Otocan]un car - looks fun, drives fun, etc.

That's why I got the 18's - they look better IMHO and that's what i wanted to spend m y money on. Of course I'll still get any TRD performance parts that come out... but looks came fast.

Most certainly build your car the way you want, part of the coolness of modding a car, the main reason really

I just like to make sure people understand what they are doing as unfortunately many are misled by the marketeers, peer pressures, sometimes a case of low selfesteem and sadly, some just have far to much taste that is not good taste, it pains me to see some of the silly stuff on the road(worst to me is the big unpainted foam wings
