Default Ingalls stiffy with strut bar?

Hey all, I just recently installed my Tanabe Sustec strut bar, and its cool and all, but I was wondering if the Ingalls ETD willl fit with the strut bar on.

I have searched but have not found a conclusive answer. I am just concerned that there will not be enough thread on the bolts to connect my strut bar on with the bracket from the ETD.

Thanks alot

I'm sure it will work.. but the strut bar will look a bit slanted.

Funny you should ask ...i just installed the same setup last weekend. Dude was right..it looks a tad bit slanted ..not noticable unless you stare. As far as thread ..well ..the bolts will make it on there but compared to how much thread was on to start with it might make you nervous...i just made sure to tighten the hell out of them. But yes it works..
The strut bar make the front end feel more "solid" nothing dramatic and i love the ingalls stiffy ..holy crap what a difference...my car sounds like the inside of a race car now at high revs...mainly cause i only put one layer of dynamat down..im guessing. pretty quiet at idle though and expect a vibrating start up.
Well that's about all the info i can give...if you're nervous about the threads i can take a pic and show you how much i ended up having left.
enjoy!

well i got the bar on with the ingalls, had no problems at all, the bolts wer plenty long. i used 2 washers on the other strut tower oposite the stiffy to level it out as well. heres some pics.

i don't know if the bar actually did much cause i also just installed springs and a rear sway just a week ago so idk. i just didn't have enough time to get used to the springs and sway to know if it did much. but it looks great and fits great.

almost forgot to mention i got it at Wesellcarparts.com . great customer service and great prices. order from them! now!

I had rubbing on the hood lining with my stiffy/ tanabe bar when I had it. I also noticed that it seemed to amplifiy the vibrations from the stiffy.

hmmm i'll have to keep an eye on it to see if it's rubbing and i don't know about amplifying the sound but, it definitly can't help.
I think if you eliminate the dynamat you should be able to get a few more threads but it'll probably be crazy loud.

I had put 3 layers of dyno mat on the tower ( one in between the strut bar and stiffy, and 2 between the stiffy and tower ) and I still got alot of noise

So i thought the strut bar was finally starting to rub on the hood cause i heard rattling that hadn't been there before. Long story short it wasn't the bar it was the stiffy. The end that connects to the braket connected to the strut was comming loose! glad i found it. I didn't put lock-tite blue like they recommended but now i think i'll make that happen...so take it from me that screw will vibrate loose...
