Ingalls Stiffy... well worth the investment
I just installed the Stiffy last night. It took about an hour to get the thing on and adjust the settings. at first I installed it without the optional dynamat and it was definately noisy. I had it at the 13mm setting just to see how it felt. Wheel hop was reduced somewhat, but the biggest advantage at that setting was a smooth downshift. Now I'm not bragging, but in my opinion and my friends, I shift and downshift very well....not perfect. With the torqe damper the downshifts are much more smooth.
About a half hour ago I installed the dynamat and changed the setting to 11mm. The difference in sound was definately noticeable. It's MUCH more quiet now, but still noticeable (it is on a stiffer setting though).
As far as performance, the shifts are very smooth, even more so than before.
Shaking is definately not an issue. At first I didn't even feel a difference. At idle you can feel the vibrations slightly in the steering wheel and in the floor. and I mean VERY slightly. While driving, if you dont shift so the RPM drop below 2, you wont feel much of anything. Cruising at about 65 there is no noticeable difference in sound or ride comfort.
Also, the ziptie can be elimintaed if you loosen the bracket holding the hard-line and simply move the piping and retighten the bolts on the bracket. I'll post pics if anyone requests them.
Ease of Install 10/10 (I suggest moving the coolant tank and the engine cover, although it is not needed)
Overall Performance 8/10
Looks 8/10
Any questions? Post 'em up or PM me.

Do you have a strut bar with it also? mine is in the mail and I think I may have to sell my dc sports strut bar. I will buy another one that will work but I'm not sure which one? Greddy? hotchkis? Etc...

I can take turns much better, no wheel hop, seriously improved off the line acceleration, I would reccomend this for any owner.
atodak: I dont know if you can with that tower setup you have.. I know the Hotchkis has no issues with it..

The torque damper has no effect on cornering. As for how much difference it'll make on an auto, I would think very little. If you have an auto, you probably shouldn't be driving your car hard enough to need a torque damper anyway :-p

Doesn't matter really. It's basically about looks after you decide on buying a bar.
My question: Does the damper install sandwiched between the strut bar and the chassis? I don't like the idea of having my strut bar a little uneven. That may throw off all of the engineering that went into the bar originally.
