To adjust the stiffy....

Hold the large nut thats next to the body of the unit with a 30mm or 27mm I dont have the number off hand. Loosen the little jam nut and adjust the other large nut in or out to adjust stiffness. After stiffness is adjusted turn the heim joint out to account for any changes in length. Once length is checked hold the middle nut whille you tighten the little jam nut. Check all nuts on the unit to make sure they are tight and bolt your unit back into the brackets.

SOrry if that makes no sense. You can also call me at 3036657800 between 8am-5pm colorado time.

Someone should update the DIY with the correct position of the gold washer, etc. Those who go into the tech section and use the DIY without reading through 14 pgs first is going to get it wrong....also with the suggestion about the tank washers.

thats just my suggestion

yea, ive heard they are, but the diy on page 1 of this thread may lead to some confusion, so hopefully a mod or the originator of the thread with correct it in the diy - after all, many people don't even read the instructions and just follow the diy online

^^^ once again go to YSTC and kick some trash over there. You are thread jacking to a point of a NOOB! I am tired of people thinking a air shock is a ETD its not its a air shock doing nothing but looking like a EBAY designed rip off. ETDs are more complicated than you little brain can grasp. Go rip off another idea and make some more inferior crap. END OF STORY!

^^^ Alas this is for you^^^ Tell me what kind of peak loads your brackets see? Also where are the peak loads being placed on your design? How did you address the torque multiplication that happens via the transmission? Also what tests have been done on this unit? NONE i thought so!
