Installing dme front/rear strut bars
Do I have to jack the car up a bit to "preload" the chasis when installing the strut bars.
I also have Trd spring/shock/sway and figured I'd try the 2 dme strut bars got them so cheap 100 for both.

You should always preload your strut bars to get proper performance and prevent pops and binding. Failing to preload can cause a lot of unnecessary pops and sounds from the suspension.
These are not adjustable strut bars. Only adjustable strut bars are required to be installed preloaded as I were told. Strut bars like those are like the Tanabe ones. Other than that just make sure the car is straight and on a flat surface.
Wow, I just realized that the OP said STRUT bars, I was reading sway bars. So to clarify, NO, you do not need to do anything for strut bars when you install them. For sway bars you do need to preload. (Strut bars are pretty useless in the tC anyways)
It'll make a small difference but your talking like a 10%-15% improvement. Only thing I noticed is that the front of the car doesn't pop as much coming out of my steep driveway and during "slow to moderate" speed turns the car is flat.
