Interest in Dan Gardner Spec tC rear sway & coilovers by Progress?
We are currently working on some ideas where we could offer this community some awesome race bred parts right off of Dan Gardner's road race tC. He is currently running a 25mm rear sway bar, which one of the 2 items we are considering offering to the Scion community.
Another option we where considering offering would be his Progress coilover kit, which is a vastly more aggressive spring rate and valving made to conquer the corners than the off the shelf edition. This again would be a limited run item too.
These parts would not be much more expensive (if any) than the existing Progress parts. Just curious as to what your thoughts are on this?

well, i've put 3 years and 50k miles on my current suspension set up (trd springs and struts, hotchkis F&R sways). and have been thinking about changing up the tC's suspension as it gets worn out.
kinda interested in the coil-overs, are there any benefits to the progress rear sway bar over the hotchkis one? bad idea to mix it with the front one since i don't have my stock front sway bar on hand anymore?

Our Limited-Edition bar will be a 1-inch solid bar in a custom color. That's a shade over 25 mm. It's three way adjustable, and could come with or without endlinks. That's still being decided. We'll have a custom decal, and the powdercoat will be awesome.
No problem mixing and matching, though we run a stock front with this custom rear. Other setups will be fine depending on application. This is the original bar that has seen three years of serious race abuse with zero issue. We tune chassis balance with the 3 sets of holes at just about every race.
The coilovers are a great upgrade and will incorporate valving that I have developed with Progress as well as custom spring rates. We probably will offer them in a couple flavors, depending on your intended use: street, track, autox. There will be a limited edition plaque on each set, and some other visually distinct cues so you and everyone else will know you have DG-spec Progress coilovers.

I'd be interested in both but would like some more tech info, if its possible. I'm in the same boat as drax (sans the Hotchkis bars) the TRD set up has been fine for the past 4 years but I've got the itch again.

Happy to give you all the tech you'd like. We really want to take the products we've invested countless hours on for track development and make them available for all you guys. Ask away!
