Just Installed TRD's
A week ago i posted a disscusion that i ordered my trds..well i got them installed and the are..... BADA$$ ....they are just the drop that i wanted...i wanted to have scion install them and they wanted 600 bucks ...NOPE i dont think so... i grabbed a buddy amd all my tools and did it in under 4 hours. the back was a pain but after a lil bit of talken to the tc she gave it up ..So i thought i would update to show u guys what it looks like. I dont know how everyone lowers them 2.0in+ but damn 1.25in. looks good. so head over to my cardomain on page 3 and check it out. My cam was a lil screwy but u see the pics.... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2498819 ....... i also got my halo fog lights to so they are on there
If there is a problem, they may ask to see the install receipt from the dealer if there is a problem, but that is only if something was done wrong with the install....if something happens as a result of having trd springs on the car, thats covered b/c the trd springs were made for the car. any other brand and the dealer will tell you to take a hike whether there was a problem with the install or if the springs caused a problem.

it doesnt matter that you didnt buy it from the, but you know that if you dont have paperwork saying that a scion dealer installed them for you they legally dont have to cover you on warranty if something goes wrong with them or anything directly affected by them
yeah man got to show my love for my hometown.. boblingen germany outside of stuttgart. it looks better then the jap. plate i got. i redid the paint so i came closer to the color of the car...Now back to the springs i noticed that the back left has settled a lil faster so i am sitting about a 1/8 lower in that corner...who cares got my drop on so thats all i need...i go for an alignment tomorrow then we will see how she looks
If I may, when you buy TRD Springs from a Scion Dealer and have them installed at the dealer, you receive a Parts and Labor warranty for the remainder of your 3 year 36,000 mile warranty or 12 months 12,000 miles whichever is greater.
If you do the install yourself you have a 12 month 12,000 mile Parts Only warranty.
A dealer, by law, cannot tell you that you do not have a warranty because you did not buy the part from them. Totally bogus and illegal to boot. They also cannot refuse to work on your car because you installed a TRD part without jeapordizing their Dealer agreement.
You might want to do a 'Search' on this topic. it's been covered numerous times.

Your car is looking good!
My very first mod was getting TRD springs installed on my car. After they settle, I think the drop goes perfect with the tC's OEM rims.
Unfortunately, I got Hotchkis sways installed at the same time so I couldn't tell you how much handling performance was gained by just the springs alone.
