Default K Sport Coilover Owners PLEASE READ

So I installed my coilvers the other day, the fronts are slammed and love the look, but the probelm, my rear still has a four finger gap. On the KSport site it says to adjust height, required to adjust the lower mount, which I did on the rears, to lower they said you have to spin the lower mount up, I moved the lower mount all the way up to the point where it cant spin anymore and adjust the spring perch all the way down and still have major wheel gap, anybody with their input help me out?

on the xbs it might be different, cause on the site, it the coilovers come with the lower mounts like the tC, the lower mount is used to lower/raise the ride height, spinning it down would raise the height and and spinning it up would lower the ride height. Im hoping its because its just a new spring.

Pics?

Its got a threaded Shock body correct? If so I would think its like my brother Tein's in that you have to thread them down in order to lower the car. Of course these could be different

make sure you snug the lower spring perch up till it is nice and tight against the spring. then put the height adjusting perch up as high as you can, till it is as close to the lower spring perch as possible.

I did that, the lower mount is touching the spring perch yet I still have a major gap. Does the spring need to settle? Most coilover setups Ive seen when you first install it, no settling was required. Major wheel gap is ____ing me off, front is slammed but the rear is so high, looks like a funny car

i seriously mean to tighten the rears up. make sure you can't wiggle the rear spring at all. then bring the lower height adjuster perch up to that. if that doesn't help i don't know what to say.

you may need a spring compressor to compress the spring so you can spin move the perch higher.. i will be doing this today i'll let u kno how it goes.

let me know how it goes, did you run into the same situation? I have a spring compressor but didnt think that would be required.

on my tiens you need to make the spring closer to the bottom to make the ride height lower.

DAYM MAN.... i made the mount all the way up and i couldn't get it any lower.. it seems the only other way i can think of is to compress the spring more.. but the spring needs a really thin spring compressor to do it... i was thinking maybe if you do it the other way and loosen the springs mount that might lower it.. i don't have time to try it yet.. but i think that might be the solution.

i'll get pics up of what i'm talking about so other people can see but i think u'll get the idea.

pls do merc.. here are pics of what we mean

this is my front drop and i'm rubbing right now and i kno i have to raise it a bit but i really was hoping i could tuck it in.

and here is the rear drop, as u can see the drop isn't as low as the front and the back is 2 finger gap compared to no finger gap in the front, my s-techs in the rear would make the rear tuck in, i've actually debated about putting my s-techs back in the rear so i can get the drop i want lol..

and this is the problem, the bottom of the shock mount is turned up all the way and can't go any higher meaning it can't go any lower, so i tried my hardest to turn the springs perch up and it lowered it very minimally, so i assume that i was doing it wrong and it should actually be turned down so the spring isn't pushing up the top mount up and instead letting it drop so it would lower the car.. am i correct?
