Default Koni yellow adjustments?

Hi all, its been awhile sense I have posted, however I am looking to adjust my Koni yellows in the rear. The website says, you must remove the shock and fully compress, can anyone confirm this.

My scion is now my daily driver, I have Knoni yellows and Eibach sportlines... looking to make it as comfortable as possible, and am considering going back to stock springs.

Thanks for any response.

Doug

Yes, these steps are needed in order to adjust the rears.

If you like it comfortable, leave alone.
If you autocross or do track days, set the rears at full-stiff, and get a friend to help you extend the shock. (you WILL need help. It won't be as stiff as you think it will be.

I guess my one concern is, I never have adjusted it, so I have no clue what it is set on. I then had a problem on one side, and replaced it, again not checking.

I have a bmw convertible on H&R cup kit- race springs and shocks, and the ride is much better. I do realize a bmw vs scion. I guess I will have to look and re-set them.

Adjust the rears by backing them off from full-stiff read the directions. Do not back them off more than the directions say.
