Default Ksport Coilovers for the TC

Hey I emailed Ksport to see if they were planning on developing coilovers for the TC and this is what they said back to me
"We have not planned on it yet, but we may in the future, I cant say how
different they are from the celica gts without seeing the tc suspension.
If we have enough people with tc wanting a kit, than we may produce
them, thanks.

Lawrence,
info@ksportusa.com

Please visit us on the web at www.ksportusa.com"

Ksport makes extremely high quality coilovers and is very popular with the honda people. Just wanted to make a list and see who would be interested in ksport making a set.

Thanks

I would be interested, especially if they are competitively priced.

Which e-mail address did you e-mail them with?? Maybe if enough of us e-mail they will start R&D for them.

Hi, just want to let everyone know that we are one of the top ksport vendor in the US and would like to help push the scion development forward.

We have succefully done ksport coilover design for the 05 Subaru Legacy GT from zero to compelet proudction kit within 2 month.

So we can do the same here. We just need to have at least 5 definate buyer for the kit and put down $100 deposite to cover oem parts cost for R&D (or if anyone willing to lend their stock suspenion that would be great too)
In retrun the first 5 buyers who paid deposite will get the exclusive low price special. (the $100 deposite counts toward final payment).

So there you have it. If you want to get it done, show some interest!

Depends on the application and complexity. We try to keep all our price at sub $1000 and the specail pricing for the first 5 will be about $150 cheaper than wat the offical price.

is there any more members interested in the coilovers or just 2? I have talked to ksportusa and they said they will work on tC if there is enough interest as they have many other application in the works and tC doesn't seem to that good of a market potential compares to others. So if you guys really want the kit then show interest and put down deposites so we can get this done.

you got to be kidding me!... they need people to be interested before they make some coilovers? and there doesn't seem to be much of a market for the tc??

have they seen how much the tc sold last year!?

this car is the only car that i can think of that was directly made for the tuner crowd , and was marketed as such.

why is the aftermarket so reluctant to make parts for our car? the chevy cobalt has more parts for it already than ours does!

Does Ksport have a website? Google'd it and came up with nothing but forum threads. Just seeing if anyone had a link? I might be interested once I learn more about the company. Thanks

It doesn't really matter how many cars were sold, what's really important to an aftermarket company is how many people are going to buy their product after they put all the time and money into making it. And so far there aren't tat much definate interest shown compare to other cars such as the legacy which we had 5 definate buyers that put down $100 deposite within the first week.
