So I searched and read that the general consensus is that these struts are junk.

Has anyone actually used them? I am dropped on S Techs with about 70k on the stock struts. They are pretty worn and need to be replaced. Amazon has a special right now for 30% off KYBs and give free shipping. A full set of 4 struts is only $170 shipped!!

I am looking for a strut for a daily driver. I do not race or need the best performance. I would like comfort and looks on my ride. I only plan to keep the tC another year or maybe 2 years at most, so I do not want to invest in top if the line parts.

Any ideas?
