Oh reason not the need.

It'd hardly be fair to justify every mod based on need. If need had anything to do with anything, we'd be driving 10hp carts around.

I don't think many would deny that a BBK improves over stock so after that, what does it matter? His $$, his choice. And for 500 buck, that's a choice I'd make.

2900 lbs isn't that much weight nowadays. The 350Z, Evo IX, STi, etc weight a little more than that.

and it's also why they have bigger brakes, bigger cars cause more heat to stop them at the same rate of speed, or faster.

Bigger rotors on a car that came designed with the brake system does nothing but dissipate heat and look better, anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong.

Pedal feel is all in brake pads and fluid, stainless steel lines do not help brake pedal feel, not in the least. The only reason race cars have stainless steel lines is for safety for when they go off course.

For $500, I'd get it anyways, that is, if it's a front and rear kit, I only know the Wilwood kit that has the two front rotors and calipers, if that's the case, it's a waste of money.

I bought the Stoptech stage 2 kit because I needed new pads and fluid, and bought the slotted rotors with it just for looks, and that was around $600. The pads, fluid and lines is $280, and it would make you much happier than having to deal with getting the wilwood kit installed properly, it's not a drop-in replacement.
