do sway bars shorten the life of struts/shock?

Shouldnt have an effect. The only difference would be that the car would handle better and you would want to drive it harder causing faster wear.

probably the only problem it will cause is a DRIVER ERROR.

the sway bar will allow you to corner faster so u will push the car a little harder and if your car is lowered, the springs usually add stress to the shocks and with your EVEN HARDER cornering, it will cause even MORE stress on shocks.

like it said, it would be a driver error haha
