Loud Noise-Please help!!
I just recently bought my first Scion tC. It's a 2007 automatic. I have a problem though and need help big time. I have a loud rubbing/growling noise coming from the driver side front. I replaced both axles and that did nothing. When driving it gets louder as you accelerate. When I turn right it goes away completely.
I put the car on a lift and put it in drive with no wheels on just to see if I could see any closer. It sounds like it's right where the axle cup goes into the transmission. I checked for play in the bearings and there is no play. It runs and shifts excellent. I'm lost what else could it be?
Please any opinions.

I'm going to take it to a shop and have them check the alignment and check the bearings and all that to see if they can figure out what it is since I don't have a lift all I have is for jack stands LOL.
