Lowered the tC yesterday
Springs still need to settle a bit but it is def. lower....
Only took me 3.5 hours to do the install with a few smoke breaks in between...
Could have done it faster at work but my dealership was bought out and the new owners dont like us working on our own cars anymore....
On to the pics.

Ha yea forgot that part...
just the TRD Springs...
I didnt want a big drop just something to eliminate the wheep gap and make it a little bit lower, I'm not much for hugging my fenders...
Heres a pic of my old SRT lowered the same way on the Eibach Prokit, just low enough to eliminate some of the wheel gap.

may i ask why you went from an SRT4 to a tC?
i know a lot of people hate on them, but to me it seems like a big downgrade in the power department?
nice and suttle drop, now get some wheels

The SRT was fun, but I put nearly 50k miles on it in 2 years and it was just time for something new so I sold it and bought a Honda 600RR...
Had that for awhile as a DD and was involved in an accident and needed something new for transport.
I loved the neon, it was a fun car (Mine had 270 whp, 305wtq) Insurance on it though was killer. I still miss it.
The tC is a downgrade powerwise, but thats about it, every other area it was an upgrade to me at least. Im over the power anyways, I have no need to go fast, I did plenty of that in the neon and on the 600RR through the twisties.

thats dropped?
hopefully it settles. congrats on doing it yourself and getting a drop, but IMO (and just my opinion) the trd drop is well... cheap. its so expensive (spring wise.... last time i checked) for such a minimal drop.

Expensive? Nah, I work for a dealer and get parts at cost so it didnt cost me much....
It has settled, it looks alot lower compared to stock tC's side by side...
No I didnt cut the bump stops...
I'll get some new pics down the line when my wheels come in, damn them being on back order...

drop is way too subtle imo, and honestly if I were to see it without any thought Id think it was still stock height.
'
I used to run trds with 18's and I thought it wasnt enough,
with stock wheels it far too subtle IMO.
but whatever floats your boat.

Yea I like it... I ordered some 17's, going the less flashy route I guess, I dont feel the need to hug my fenders and what not, it looks good dont get my wrong but I just wanted to go this route for now, I'll go with some C/O's later down the line....
Looks goods. Just a fair warning...I dropped my 08 tC with TRD's, was happy for awhile but then got frustrated with the large gap it left after a year. I'm not saying that'll happen but you might want to look into Tein springs if you do decide to lower your tC more. I just ordered a set of s techs and will post a picture if your curious about the difference.
I started with trds and was disappointed by the huge wheel gap in the front, I waited for a few months for it settle and it still looked like stock to me. Got rid of it, and went with h-techs IMO now the drop is ideal.
