Default lowering springs and ground effects

I ordered my tc 6 weeks ago. It will be in 3 days from now and i am wondering if it is a good idea or not to lower it and add ground effects. your opinions are greatly appreciated.

lower it, but don't do it at the dealer. same goes for oem lip kit. as a matter of fact, don't do ANYTHING at the dealer except picking up your sweet base model tc! in stick of course

yes....they'll overcharge you big time...even if the owner's a friend of yours. try trdsparks.com, mcgeorgeparts.com, and i think even partznet.com has add-ons too. the ground effects kit can be found for much less than the dealership sells it for (try trdsparks) and the lowering springs that the dealer offers really arent that much. i suggest hotchkis or tein h-techs for a better drop. pm me and i'll help you out bro. welcome the the world of aftermarket (including oem stuff not bought from the dealer) parts. whatever you do, don't buy your stuff from the dealer, their stuff is way overpriced compared to the internet.

ok well thats not bad cause thats how much i got mine installed for! The dealer quoted me $500+$ for springs! retards! the only thing you should go to the dealer is for the FREE oil changes and warranty problems! Nothing else, buy everything else from TRDsparks or McGeorgeparts! Great places!

BTW what are your choices on springs?

i saw go ahead and get the ground effects from them so yuo can finance it with the car. it'll jus be a hassle to order the kit and then paint it and then install it later. springs isnt that hard to do and its a lot cheaper if u bought it somewhere else

if you want one of the spoilers? get that to! you dont want to drill into your own hatch! thats about it!

i like both of them, im still debating on which one im getting myself? they both look good with a clean drop and lip kit!

yea i already told them the lip is what i wanted. personally i like a solid tight looking car. i think the pedistal spoiler makes it look a little loose at the end.

classic leather shifter, dimming mirror, rear bumper protector, lip spoiler, lower it, fog lights. i think thats all. i was going to get the rear tail lights but i decided against it.
