You will likely need special tools... OR... you can use the combination method...
If you have jack stands... it's not too hard to get the strut assemblies out of the vehicle. Then take all 4 with your new springs to a Midas or Monroe and have them swap the springs ($40-$50? maybe). Then go put the strut assemblies back into the car.
But if you want to try it yourself, the rear is a total PITA.

you could always do what I did... I did the fronts myself and then drove the car 1/2 lowered to a shop that did the rears for me. got a deal too, they did the rears for 50 bucks. woot
^^ That's a good price... even just for rear.
Which kind of gives you another suggestion. Call around to a few reputable shops and see what they'll charge. Some places will do it for like $100 or less. That's a great price for springs in my book. Some dealers will be $250+.

That is a good Idea. The place I was going to go was going to charge 200 for the intire job but I figured If I could do it myself I would save some money...
How long did you drive around with the fronts lowered like that?
