Rubbing? Does it squeal? or is the pad actually touching the rotor all the time?
I guess the pad could have gotten stuck up/hung up in the caliper. Did you uses brake cleaner and clean out all the old dirt and brake dust? Did you use brake grease?

might have to get used to it.
i replaces my rotors and pads and every time i would use the brakes i would squeak but its has gotten a lot better over time. now it only squeaks when the breaks are cold every once in a while.

ok when i posted this thread i thought it was the pads rubbing but i was wrong. take off ur rotor and look at the thin plate (back only) and there are 2 little pins that hold the e-brake pads, thoses tend to bend inward and rub on th inside of ur rotor. u should see rub marks on the plat. just hit it back a little throw on the rotors and spin by hand and if it still makes nosie hit it again. will post up a pic soon to show u where to look

My brakes squeak when the car is coming to a stop. it's only coming from the front . What's the deal I did upgrade my brakes rotors and pads. I've had these for about 5k miles now. there was a little rubbing when I first had them but it's gone and now I have this squeaky problem . Can anyone help me out .

If you upgraded to better performing pad, this can cause more noise. I would suggest trying brake cleaner to remove excess dirt and dust to see if that improves the noise.
Some pads that offer better stopping improvement etc, (EBC Green stuff I know of) will squeal when stopping and that is the pad material causing that. There is nothing you can do to change this other than going back to OEM pads or similar material.
