I was thinking of getting the Ksport Kontrol Pro or Tein SS coilovers for my car but my friend suggested getting the Koni Yellow Struts and Ground Control Coilover sleeves. He said its a very nice setup for the money. I'm thinking about getting them instead of the Ksport or Tein. What do you guys think? KSport 850. Tein SS 1100. Koni and Ground Control about 1100 give or take.

 

What are you going to be doing with the car?

 

Daily driving. And some mountain cornering. I would also like to adjust the height when it snows and also the dampner setting.

 

Where are you seeing Tein SS's for $1100? They just raised their prices; I'm seeing over $1400 for them now. If that's too steep, go with the KSport's.

 

At a local shop they are offering me 1100 for the SS and 1224 for the SS-P. But are the Ksports reliable?

 

Get the Tein's from the local shop if only because you'll never be able to get the Tein's for that price ever again. Also, the KSport's are Taiwanese. :\

 

Ya, the KSports are kind of a "generic" (same with Megan racing). A bunch of people have them and likely have no complaints... but go with something you know and trust.
