Default need some input.. stock traded for trd

I have someone that wants to trade my Stock shocks and springs + $200 for trd shocks and lowering springs. Both are used for about 20k-30k miles.

I have sportline springs and stock shocks on MY car now and would like to keep the 2" drop.. im not sure how the trd's will sit. Hopefully are they about the same drop?

So my question is should I trade or just save money and buy all new (750 for springs, shocks, + rear sway ) or does this sound like a good deal?

I also have to do all the work... take my car and his car apart and put both together. I will be doing this all in a two car garage :\ My car now has over 45k on the stock shocks and sportline springs and starting to be a rough ride for my daily driver... Will the trd shocks and springs be more of a smoother ride or still really bouncy

Thanks for the help in advance

Eibach springs have a 1 million mile warranty they are not gonna be dead this soon, they are a 2 inch drop, and at that drop they have worn out the stock shock/struts. (they no longer travel the full length so it kills them)
Trd springs are a 1 1/2 inch drop the trd shocks would be better than dead stockers. You should just get some new shocks/struts to go with the Eibach's some KYB's, Koni's or Tociko's. If you buy new you can get shocks/struts for the 02-06 Echo and get an extra 1/2 inch drop in front. when you chose, find the part # and Google it to find best pricing.

Your Sportline springs are fine, as he said the struts are worn out. If you like the drop don't trade for the TRD springs as they sit about .75" higher than your current setup.

I would buy new struts, either TRD, Koni, or Tokico. Just don't buy another set of stock struts as they are not made to be used with lowering springs and will wear out very quickly.

I'd take the struts and keep your current springs if anything. Otherwise I wouldn't take the deal.

i hear what you all are saying.. i think just going new would be the best bet for me. My sportline springs are shot... the second from bottom coil is wearing flat. It is now about half the thickness as it was new. I dont think thats supposed to happen. I just dont think eibach will do anything about that but i guess it is worth a shot. just dont know where to start.

call eibach and mention the problem to them, if theyre warranty is so flawless, im pretty sure they will be glad to replace the springs.

contacted eibach and they told me there is a problem with them but they will only replace them through the company I purchased them from... and figures the company is no longer around. So now I have to dig deeper into management and see what can be done.
