Default need some more help!

so im either going with:

Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C Coilovers/TRD Rear Sway
or
Tein Basic Coilovers/TRD Rear Sway
or
TRD Springs and TRD Shocks/TRD Rear Sway

I don't plan on tracking my car so I feel as if Tein is out of the question.
The coilovers Tanabe makes are tuned for street, so I feel that would be the best choice, plus they're adjustable so I can go back to stock height in the winter.
TRD is just so effing pricey but at least with those I won't void my warranty. But, I can't adjust those either.

Dilemma much?

of those 3 and for your desired use, i think you would want to get the Tanabes. Like you said, you think its good, street tuned and is adjustable. With that said, theres no question on height and stiffness, you can just change it when you feel like it.

dilemma solved! not to mention the price is not bad for those coils.

On the tC, the max negative camber should be -1.4; I dont think the trd springs will do that, so you shouldn't need to worry about ajusting your camber with the trd lowering springs.

Tanabe coils are pretty tame with the drop. You don't need camber links for any of your choices. All natural camber can be fixed with an alignment.

tanabes go for like 800-850 if you look around, a small portion more than the trd strut + spring setup...plus height / damper adjustable...cant go wrong with that.

and yeah, like Ro_Ja said, no need for camber links. i bought them and it was a complete waste of my $200.

Resurrecting this thread... how do you like the tanabe coils? Sustec Pro s-0C correct? Haven't found many people's opinion of them, I am interested in getting them myself. Comments on ride quality and cornering stability compared to stock and how much you've adjusted the ride height would be great!

I was just going to harass you for bumping an old thread for no reason... but it looks like you actually have a reason and a valid question. That's pretty rare. Good job.

haha, well thanks. I'm looking at these tanabes and h&r coils but I'm not yet set on spending that much. To save some money tho I'm seriously considering tokico stuts with a TBD set of springs, although that will come to ~200 less than the tanabes... TRD, Hotchkis, Eibach sport or pro, h&r sport or race, or progress are what I have made an excel chart of lol. Overall I am trying to improve handling and reduce wheel gap. No autoXing, and I will see snow. Apparently a LOT of snow...

Do you own a set? Do you think its worth $850 vs 600 something for a good spring and stut combo?
