Default New drop for the Tc hits market at SEMA

Sport Springs

VOGTLAND sport spring sets made in Germany give your car improved dynamic handling, better cornering and a dynamic appearance. This means better appearance with maximum driving comfort in normal operation and sporty, progressive tuning at the operating limits. The special driving dynamics are achieved by the innovative spring design.

Lowering from 30, 40 or even 60 mm is possible. You can choose between this range of different sport spring sets.
The lower center of gravity provides greater handling and increases driving fun.

The reduction of the spring travel demands a specific spring characteristic, derived from Motor sports. The VOGTLAND-Compound-Spring consist of two different spring rates: a starting and an end rate. These are specially calibrated for every car model balanced and interacting characteristics stand for a well-balanced driving comfort and more sportive dynamics.

Here are the Specs on the Scion Tc springs.

Drop:
Front:40mm or 1.57"
Rear: 30mm or 1.18"

Spring Rate: Tba
Front:171lbs
Rear: 321 lbs

These as you can see are a great spring when you want just a little more than the TRD drop but you don't want S-tech low. Vogtland springs are available from any SL sponsor that sells Ingalls Engineering products. These are a great solution for the Tc's out there running staggered fitment rims or wide wheels all the way around.

Check out Voglands website for more info.

Vogtland is been in the spring business for over 90 YEARS! They are looked upon very high in the Euro world. Also Vogtland springs are on almost all Nascar Nextel/busch series cup cars.

the numbers being 1.5" and 1.1" are obviously less of a drop than hotchkis, more like the trd or h tech. are they in fact that small of a drop or are the numbers not really right. i definetly like the look of the tc on hotchkis and if it isn't as low as them then they aren't the springs for me.

please give us the scoop on these and post some good pics BOXMAN.

I run 19" rims and Hotckis was too low and caused issues. I also had a very bad case of coil lash in the rear due to the Hotchkis soft spring rate. If you want low I would sugest Hotchkis or Tein. If you want quality and performance i would go Vogtland. I mean 90 plus years in the industry and a very very strong following. This company doesnt sponsor or advertise for the Import side of things and they are still well known. They just released the Scion line give it time and you will wish you had went Vogtland.

But if you want make it 100.00 for my used hotchkis springs.

When coils are too close they will actually smash or collide together that causes spring rates to be effected
