Default New Front Sway Bar Endlinks!!!

I was in need of front swaybar endlinks so I could properly corner balance the TC. I went out on a limb and bought an endlink kit for 1999 to 2002 Ford Lightning. My current setup is Tein SSP and Hotchkis sways. As most of you that have this setup know the swaybars rub on the subframe and the tierod ends. These endlinks completely fix the problem. Not sure weather these will work with other suspension setups. I will post pictures when I can get the car back on the rack.

I forgot to mention that these were adjustable and made by competition engineering. Part #C7990. I had to drill out the strut mounting point to .5" in order for these to work. The bolts fit nice and snug in the swaybar.

Could have gotten tC specific ones without the drilling:

Not cheap... but would certainly do the job.

i havent seen you post in a while, kcttc. I remember seeing pics of your suspension a few years ago.

I was thinking about picking up some powergrid endlinks. They worked well on my track mini cooper S

I looked into the powergrids and they are to long for my setup. If you are running the Tein ssp and Hotchkis Sways you will know what i am talking about. The Competition Engineering Endlinks are almost $100.00 cheaper.

I would build my own from McMAster Carr items before I would spend $160.00 on a set ack.

You can't beat the price of the comp engineering endlinks! I got mine for 79.99 plus shipping. They also look much stronger than any other endlinks I have seen for the TC.

The biggest downside to the ones I posted (besides the ridiculous price) is they are setup like stock ones - so you need an hex wrench inside of the box wrench to tighten/loosen. But IMO, the ends look much beefier than any of the others I've seen - not to mention the seal.

That said, I definitely wouldn't drop the $$ on them. They just look like they're the nicest set. I haven't looked into any of the mcmaster carr stuff though.

McMaster Carr just sells hardware.. just about any type you can think of. They should have plenty of selection to build a set of good adjustable endlinks. You would probably spend about $60 - $70 though on them.

Doc built his from a kit you can purchase at http://www.qscomponents.com/12EconWBungAndJamNuts.html. You can buy the radius rod as well from them and have someone weld the threaded ends into it.

In any case you will probably spend $80 - $100 on an adjustable set.
