HELLO. i got my strut bar installed last week on friday. tell me what you think.



Does anyone else that has a strut bar go under the thingy circled in the picture above?

 

Where did you get it installed at? What you have circled would bug the ish out of me! TAKE IT BACK!! And have them re-install with that hose(?) underneath the bar. Or maybe you could fix the hose/black thingy yourself? Just wondering.

 

uhh... what kind of strut bar would be designed to have a black hose thingy over the strut bar... i guess it greatly improves performance.... hmmm never thought of that.

I just installed my DC sports brace and I put the black hose underneath the bar. You can do it your self its pretty easy just a few clips and the two bolts that hold the wipers in place. then unplug the wire, put it under the bar and plug it back in.

 

oo.. i gotta unplug it? Anyways, its a megan racing prototype strut bar. It's like not in production yet.. They just use my car to try it out. Some new ones will be out soon, and i'm sure they will be better. Because they are going to replace the one i have right now with the new ones later on.

The black wiring thing will fit under the Strut Bar..I had to unplug it then run it under my DC Sport one....easy to do!

 

wait.. so what do i unplug? wouldn't be the same if i just put it on over the black thing when i first installed it?

 

What kind of strutbar is that? Looks like a bootleg GReddy one.

 

its a megan racing one.. And again, my car was a guinea pig.. I'll post pics of the new product in a couple of weeks.. It takes time for them to make it and design it perfectly...

yeah.. me too!

 

Megan racing is starting to get out of line copying everyone elses product. They make some good stuff for people on a budget but could they atleast be original.

 

That's the vaccum hose, no? I have the Hotchkis strut bar and it goes over it too.. no problems.
