anybody have any experince with these? or is a nt555 better?

 

I have em', I love em', and i wouldnt change.

 

what size? im looking at running 215/35-18....... how do they handle in the rain? and dry? pretty sticky?

 

nitto have been pretty good to me in the past on everything except snow. if i didnt have these p700 on my car i would have nittos i would choose a hard compound version if i could because they last longer in my experience

 

They handle very good in the rain ( I know it hasnt stoped raining in over 3 weeks) and i have them in 215/35/19's

 

yeah i have a set of falken st119 235-19 on my accord, they will probably only last me about 15k miles? so im looking for something a little harder, but i dont want it to ride like brick, and i want it to have some level of bite......sounds like im getting a set of neo0gens. thanks guys!

 

Yea the thing that i have noticed with the nittos is that they are VERY soft ride at first, even better than stock with my 19's, but aafter about 5 months their hard as hell

Nope, even so i am very pleased with the nittos.i would get em again

I had a set of 205/40/17 Neo Gens on my old car. Nice tire with a nice looking tread pattern, but go with the 555 if you really want max grip. My Neo Gens took awhile to warm up and they were hardly sticky. Good street tire, but no good race tire.
After my Neo Gens I had a set of Bridgestone Potenza S03's, Yoko ES100's, and Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. I personally recommend Parada Spec 2's for their price, grip, and tread wear. Perfect balance of all.

 

, yea thet are a good tire but not wear i live. my buddy had them and they wear slicks before 3000 miles. he only had them for 2 months.

 

yeah i knew the 555 were the best, but im not tracking my car......my next question is. what looks better, 225/40 or 125/35's ......
not to jock freeflows style, but im getting the same rims, i had a set of those on one of my other cars, and for the money, they look sweet, very clean lines, easy to clean. i really like his set up.......sorry freeflow

 

thanks. but your gonna be hard pressed to get a set of four rims. i just got through fighting with a shop who damaged my other set. last time i called the manufactor theres a three month wait on my rims.. they make a gold colored set but theres only like 2 shops in the whole country that carry them in stock and they on the west coast and they only have eight rims.. i probably gonna buy the gold set soon and fitem with nittos 555 or nittos hard compound tires..


this is the one i should have got ...gold and blue look great together IMO

 

these rims are not hard to find where i live, i called the local wheel shop i go to, and they had 3 sets instock with a 5x100 in hyperblack. and 5 in the regular grey. i hope the dealers/shops arent telling you that to give you the runaround, these are not expensive rims,and as sold as either sportmax or primax,or ICW, when i had this set on my accord last year, each box had 3 centercaps, so i could choose which rims company i want to sport, anyways.....they are decent rims for a 18 inch 110.00 rim (my cost)

 

Tires are good not the greatest grip for racing or anything though

 

what about general driving around town?
