I am interested in purchasing the KW brand coilovers, Variant 2, but cant find any information here on the forums. Anyone already using these?

Any opinions? They are a bit expensive.

I dont think so...but theyre a good company. I installed a set of clubsports on my father-inlaws M3 and theyre pretty sick.

 

Seems like a good company. Why are they so expensive, especially considering Teins, for around the same price have more features.

Im kind of being forced to purchase them because they are being offered at near cost prices.

 

It really is....he looked into kw, eibach(since there here in corona),and tien before buyin them and from what he read and saw, kw was the route all the beemer guys were going so thats what he went with.

 

Dezod has carried them for years, and had a sale on this forum for months. :?

They're the only coilover I'd replace my H&R with.

KW's a legit company. they have super good reviews among s2000 owners, they just get a little pricey for the budget modder.

kw's are real good, my friend just put them on his golf and he loves them

 

I own the KWs, and they make me happy. They have more ajustability than you can shake a stick at. Tight, clean, extremely adjustable. Great buy.

 

auctually the kw's are very reccommended for alot of european cars. there pretty well known for european cars. they are a really good brand

Yes KW are German engineered coilovers with Inox Stainless Steel bodies. Not many other coils have that! The coilovers are of great quality and are very popular in the VW, Audi, BMW Euro Tuning Scene

 

I totally agree... german stuff rocks..it just so much better! Woulda got these instead of h&r...but too expensive at the time...

 

what are the specs. on these? i.e. spring rates? I will search now and see if I find them...

I was looking into W but picked up some JICs instead. KW would of been my second/third choice.

 

can you put the pillow ball mounts from the teins on the KW ?
