They're both similar in price, but you get more adjust ability with the F2's. I believe the H&R coils use the stock tophats too.

Call them and ask for Ken. Let them know you saw the ad on Scionlife, He'll know what to do.

ahh i still cant decide. I need some solid answers on why I should choose one over H&R. If I am going to spend over a thousand dollars they better be the best, and last a long time.

I dont know too much about the geometry of suspension.

Put it this way.

H&R
No dampening adjustability
Uses stock tophats -no camber adjustment
-you'd need to use pain in the ___ cam bolts
Similar in price

Type IIs
32 way dampening adjustable
Custom spring rated available
has pillowball mounts (front) with camber adjustment
similar in price as well

So it's really up to you, If you're having doubt if they're good then go for the H&R. Honda guys seem to have no issues with F2's and I can safely assume it would be the same for Scions.

well who ever has these please chime in. I did have the H&R's and the ride was amazing. I'm really afraid of adjusting the coilovers and doing more harm than good for racing.

Thats what I was afraid of too, but once it's dialed to your liking, then you're pretty much set. I just daily drive my car, but I wouldnt mind taking it to the track or autox-ing it one of these days... Thats where adjustability wins.

exactly my feelings. There are so many things that play into having a dialed in suspension set up. H&R's where great, because the ride was amazing and yet I could throw it into a corner without fear. Now im treading into unfamiliar territory so I am a little nervous.

Specs:
-32 stage adjustable damper
-Height Adjustable (Range depends on application)
-Forged 6061 Aluminum Alloy Top Mount
-Forged 6061 Almunum Alloy Lower Mounts
-Mono Tube Design and 44mm Piston
-Improved rubber components, suspension fluid, and seals.
-SAE9254 Spring (180mm)

-Custom Spring Rates available as a custom order. Call for more details on pricing, options, and build times on custom sets.

So the Function and Form website says that the coilover has a dual tube design, I'm guessing they need to update their info??
