Default Painted Calipers?

dont you have to use temperature resistant paint? since it gets really hot on heavy and frequent braking?

You want to go with High Performance Caliper Paint.
It contains Ceramic Resins and can be put on without Removing the calipers.
Some Nice Cool colors.
Check out DupliColor. Found in most auto stores.

even with the high performance caliper paints, chipping will happen sooner or later...rock chips, weather, break dust, all the elements...it will eventually show some wear and tear just like the paint on your car.

i used the duplicolor spray can last night on my calipers and it did really well. i replaced all my pads anyway so taking the calipers most of the way off wasn't an issue for me. however, if i were to do it again i think i would go with the paint brush style duplicolor kit. after i got the pads in and the caliper back together i could see a few spots that could use a touch up, and with a spray can that can get nasty while the caliper is back on your rotor and whatnot.

my opinion, but yeah, duplicolor is where it's at ;)

its duplicolor, not autozone.
its not affiliated with autozone in any way, its just sold there, and its not cheap quality, thats what everyone uses.

G2 is better i think it has higher temp resis like 900 compare to 500 of dupli but in the end its in the prep you do, if you don't sand right and stuff it doesn't matter which brand you use.

I know Duplicolor isn't cheap quality....I used in on my TC the first time I painted the calipers. The second time, I used VHT and I find VHT just has a more rich looking color/shine to their paint.
